Is your child starting school in September 2022? - A Virtual Welcome from Mrs Brookes, Headteacher
Dear Prospective Parents/Carers,
Thank you for considering our school for your child. Normally we would be opening our doors and inviting you in to see our wonderful school during the time that you are considering where your child will begin their education journey. However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic we are currently limited to what we are able to offer 2022 prospective parents/carers.
Gloucestershire County Council and our local headteacher associations have recommended that schools do not hold open days or evenings, as such gatherings could breach national guidance and also compromise the safe systems of infection control that schools have put in place to protect children and staff.
We know that choosing a school for your child is an important and difficult decision to make. We are also aware that you need to find out as much as you can about a school before making your choices for school places.
Whilst we are really disappointed to not be able to invite you into our wonderful school, we hope that this video will give you a flavour of life at Heron:
