The recommended school uniform is:
Parents should ensure that their children wear appropriate school footwear. Training shoes are not acceptable for normal school footwear. Boots should only be worn in adverse weather conditions and pupils should change into school footwear once they are in school.
Hairstyles - the Governing body are not in favour of any form of extreme hairstyle and the school appreciate parent/carer support with this policy. Long hair should be tied back during school hours.
Jewellery - for Health & Safety reasons, watches and stud earrings are the only acceptable items of jewellery and teachers cannot be held responsible for their safe keeping. If your child is unable to remove their studs, then we ask that these are convered by plaster/tape for PE and games activities. Parents should supply their child with the plaster/tape where necessary. Please note it is the policy of all swimming pool instructors to insist that all children remove earrings when taking part in swimming sessions.
Art Apron - all Infant and Junior pupils will be provided with an apron when they do painting, glueing or clay work.
PE Kit - Indoor kit: all children should have a pair of plimsolls or daps, a white t-shirt and a pair of navy shorts, as well as a bag to keep them in.
Junior Games Kit
Boys - t shirt in house colours*, navy shorts, navy/white socks, football boots or strong trainers.
Girls - t shirt in house colours*, navy shorts or games skirt, white socks, plimsolls or trainers.
*Your child's first t shirt in house colours will be provided by the school. Subsequent t shirts can be purchased through the Uniform Shop.
For both boys and girls - tracksuit or long tracksuit bottoms, and long sleeved sweat shirt, preferably navy, for cold weather.
Parents are asked to ensure that all items of school clothing and PE kit are clearly marked with their child's name and that the appropriate PE kit is available in school on PE and games days.
School uniform and PE kit including tracksuits, name tags etc. can be viewed and purchased from the Gloucester Trutex shop based in Northgate Street, Gloucester. You can access their website here.
Should anyone require guidance on any of these requirements please do not hesitate to contact the school.
